Timber Frame Treehouse

Presented with a sketch and simple question, β€˜Can you build me a treehouse?’, this project started to take life. Providing an extension to the clients entertaining space for guests, along with a joyful place for their children to play, the design queues of the clients existing house pull this all together successfully. Consisting of a hexagonal design, with three interlocking beams that bear the weight of the entire structure, featuring trim details such as the locally sourced whole logs for the ladder, handrails and siding, this project turned out so successful that it was featured within New Hampshire Home Magazine article, β€˜Out on a Limb’.
